As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat10:00 PM - 06:30 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:30 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and facility information, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to site leadership. Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain professional communication with healthcare personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience. A guard card or license is preferred. X-ray screening experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
