Location: Fletcher, OH

Employment Type: Full-Time | Long-Term Career Opportunity

Shift: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM *Flexible start/end times with autonomy based on maintenance and project needs

Pay Range: $30.00 – $40.00/hour, based on experience

Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a rapidly growing plastics injection molding manufacturer in Fletcher, OH to hire an experienced Senior Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician .

This isn't a position where you'll spend your entire day responding to breakdowns. We're looking for a hands-on maintenance professional who can take ownership of preventive maintenance, injection molding equipment, tooling repairs, facility electrical projects, maintenance planning, and equipment installations .

The facility has doubled sales in the last 13 months and is projecting continued significant growth. Position Summary

The Senior Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician will serve as a key hands-on maintenance resource for the Fletcher facility, supporting injection molding machines, molds and tooling, robotics, facility electrical systems, material-handling equipment, and preventive maintenance programs .

This position requires someone who can do more than turn a wrench. The ideal candidate can troubleshoot equipment, plan and schedule PMs, coordinate purchasing for maintenance needs, support tooling repairs, and help manage facility improvement and equipment installation projects.

You'll be trusted to prioritize work and manage your schedule with a high level of independence.

Key Responsibilities Injection Molding & Machine Maintenance

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain injection molding equipment.
• Support Haitian injection molding machines ranging from 500 to 1,300 tons .
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and machine-related issues.
• Support Nachi-Fujikoshi robotics and 3D vision systems .
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment uptime.
• Assist with the installation and startup of two new injection molding machines .

Mold & Tooling Support

• Perform maintenance and repairs on company-owned injection molds.
• Troubleshoot mold and tooling-related production issues.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance for molds and tooling.
• Assist with repairs, adjustments, and preparation of tooling for production.
• Help establish maintenance priorities based on production requirements and tooling condition.

Preventive Maintenance & Planning

• Take ownership of preventive maintenance planning and execution.
• Develop and coordinate PM schedules around production requirements.
• Identify upcoming maintenance needs before equipment failures occur.
• Maintain maintenance records and track completed work.
• Coordinate parts, supplies, vendors, and purchasing required for planned maintenance.
• Recommend improvements that increase equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.

Electrical & Facility Maintenance

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical and facility systems.
• Work with 3-phase electrical systems ; experience with 280V 3-phase equipment is helpful.
• Support facility lighting, electrical, ventilation, and infrastructure needs.
• Assist with upcoming facility improvement projects including:- Retrofitting and upgrading plant lighting
  • Improving facility ventilation and airflow to reduce production-floor temperatures
  • Electrical and facility preparation for new equipment installations

Forklift & Material-Handling Equipment

• Assist with preventive maintenance and basic repairs on propane-powered forklifts.
• Support standard sit-down forklifts with 5,000-lb and heavier up to 20,000 lb capacity .

Qualifications Required

• Strong hands-on multi-craft industrial maintenance experience .
• Previous proven maintenance experience within a plastics/injection molding environment .
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Industrial electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Experience supporting injection molding machines and related auxiliary equipment.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and independently prioritize maintenance activities.
• Experience supporting tooling and/or mold repairs.
• Ability to identify and purchase maintenance parts, components, and supplies.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Highly Preferred

• Strong knowledge of injection molding processes and equipment .
• Experience with Haitian injection molding machines or comparable large-tonnage molding equipment.
• Experience with Nachi-Fujikoshi robots , industrial robotics, or machine vision systems.
• Experience planning and scheduling preventive maintenance programs.
• Facility electrical and improvement-project experience.
• Experience assisting with new machine installations and commissioning.
• Forklift maintenance experience.
• Experience working in a startup, expansion, or rapidly growing manufacturing environment.

Compensation & Benefits

• $30.00 – $40.00/hour , based on experience.
