You will also have the opportunity to:Provide consulting support to architects, engineers, contractors and owners for building control and Mechanical Systems.Estimate control system hardware and installation costs based on project plans, specifications, and other contract documents.Interface with ATS engineers and technicians to ensure successful project implementation.Provide industry presentations and seminars to educate and influence the consulting, contracting and building engineering community.Direct project financial responsibility is also important in the sales engineering position.Our customer base includes but is not limited to; data centers, hospital and healthcare facilities, government buildings, school districts, and higher education buildings.Some qualities we're looking forExceptional writing and presentation skillsExcellent time management and organizational skillsCollaborative communications and interactive skillsAbility to work independently and unsupervisedKnowledge of DDC control theory, applications, and mechanical systemsBackground and experiences that will set you up for successDegree in Engineering – Mechanical and Electrical Engineering are most common, but other disciplines are welcomed, tooBuilding and/or Mechanical systems experienceProfessional business to business sales experienceKnowledge of DDC Control Theory & Applications and Mechanical systemsJob details you should knowAnnual base salary range for entry-level candidates is $65,000-$80,000Additional compensation in the form of commission and car allowance on top of base payThis is a full time, exempt position. Typical work days are Monday-FridayLocal travel required up to 30% of the time with occasional out-of-state travelThis position requires a combination of working in an office environment and routine visits to project jobsites up to 50% of working hours. Project jobsites present typical construction and outdoor conditions that require the use of personal protective equipment for safety purposes. Must be comfortable climbing a ladder.
