Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced Employment Defense Attorney to join their team in Anaheim, CA. Duties Manage a diverse caseload of employment‑related claims, including wrongful termination and discrimination. Represent clients in all phases of litigation, from pleadings to trial and appeal. Communicate effectively with clients, providing strategic legal advice. Conduct thorough legal research and draft various legal documents. Attend court hearings, depositions, and trials as necessary. Engage in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution. Collaborate with attorneys and support staff for efficient case management. Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active membership in the California State Bar. Minimum 4 years of experience in employment defense litigation. Strong knowledge of California state and federal court procedures. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to manage a high‑volume caseload and meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail‑oriented with a commitment to excellence in legal work. Preferred Qualifications Experience with class action lawsuits and complex litigation. Trial experience is a plus. Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
