Audiologist Hearing Instrument Specialist

Job Description onePHG is all about finding hearing care professionals who want to be part of something special, a collaborative effort to create the ultimate patient care. As part of their ongoing expansion efforts, onePHG is seeking an experienced and determined Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist to join their team in Chesepeake, Va. The HIS will provide comprehensive audiological evaluations, perform specialized tests, and create treatment plans for patients while taking full responsibility for the complete patient journey. Responsibilities Providing comprehensive, diagnostic hearing evaluations for adult patients. Evaluating, diagnosing, and providing treatment and rehabilitation for tinnitus patients Hearing aid verification, including Real Ear Measurement and Speech Mapping Taking complete ownership of the treatment, the continuing care, and the patient’s journey. Dispensing and fitting hearing aids. Providing counseling and follow-up care. Maintaining professional credentials and CEU requirements and staying informed and knowledgeable about Audiology news and updates. Requirements Au.D. or master’s-level degree in Audiology or, HIS/BC-HIS 2+ years of experience fitting Hearing aids Ability to make decisions and solve problems independently.
