Emergency Room Registered Nurse Opportunity

Step into a dynamic clinical environment where your Emergency Room expertise can make a real difference. This contract opportunity for a Registered Nurse with ER experience involves providing high-quality care in a fast-paced setting supporting patients through urgent medical needs.

Schedule/Hours:

• 13-week contract
• 3x12-hour shifts: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call duties

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in an Emergency Room setting
• Active NC or Compact RN license at the time of application
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system
• Not open to first-time travelers; at least one prior travel assignment required
• Must be prepared to manage a patient ratio of 1:4

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive assessment, triage, and evidence-based interventions in response to acute medical situations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans and facilitate patient flow
• Accurately document treatments, assessments, and events in EPIC
• Respond swiftly to emergencies, providing critical care interventions to stabilize patients
• Educate patients and families on treatment processes and discharge instructions

$1,800 - $1,958/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
