Marketing & Communications InternshipIndiana Sports Corp provides internship opportunities that immerse students in a professional working environment while introducing them to the not-for-profit industry. Internships are available based on business needs and can include event and volunteer operations; communications; marketing; graphic design; community engagement; sports tourism; business development; and finance. ISC's fast paced and entrepreneurial working environment offers each intern a rich experience within his/her chosen area; however, interns are exposed to all functional areas of the company to reinforce the important role collaboration plays in a successful company.The Marketing & Communications Internship is designed to expand a student's knowledge and hands-on experience in marketing, communications, and event promotion. Interns will play an active role in supporting marketing and communications campaigns across Indiana Sports Corp events and initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Assist with the development and execution of marketing campaigns, including brainstorming concepts, identifying promotional opportunities and supporting campaign deliverables.Contribute ideas for engaging content, campaigns and storytelling across digital, social, email and event platforms.Assist with the creation, scheduling, and management of targeted email campaigns.Support planning, content creation, and live event coverage across platforms.Aid in pre-event setup and on-site media logistics.Help maintain and update event-related web content.Draft and edit media advisories, press releases, and promotional copyPreferred Skills:Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone for different audiencesBasic understanding of public relations practices, including press release writing and media outreachStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAttention to detail, especially in content creation, proofreading, and campaign executionAbility to work both independently and collaboratively across teamsInterest in sports, live events, or sports tourism industriesQualifications:Undergraduate and Graduate Students Must be currently pursuing or have recently earned a degree from an accredited undergraduate or graduate programInternship Details:Term: January 19th, 2027 - May 7th, 2027Schedule: 4-5 days per week (approximately 30-40 hours/week)Stipend: $2000Location: On-site - Indianapolis, Indiana.
