You will develop and execute integrated communication and marketing strategies that strengthen the company's brand, support residential leasing and operating performance, enhance investor relationships, and position Thompson Thrift for continued growth.Working closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams, you'll lead corporate communications, public relations, branding, residential marketing, investor communications, and reputation management while building a high-performing communications and marketing organization that delivers measurable business results.Key ResponsibilitiesEnterprise Communications & Brand LeadershipDevelop and execute enterprise communications and marketing strategies aligned with company objectivesServe as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on corporate communications, reputation management, crisis communications, and stakeholder engagementLead corporate branding initiatives and ensure consistency in messaging, visual identity, and brand standards across all communication channelsDirect public relations, media relations, executive communications, press releases, and community engagement initiativesDevelop proactive communication strategies that strengthen the company's reputation and address emerging business or reputational risksSupport organizational change initiatives through strategic internal and external communication planningMarketing Strategy & LeadershipLead, mentor, and develop the communications and marketing team while fostering a collaborative, high-performing cultureOversee corporate marketing initiatives including advertising, digital marketing, websites, social media, presentations, events, proposals, and marketing collateralPartner with Development, Construction, Property Management, Community Management, and Business Development teams to support strategic marketing initiativesManage relationships with external agencies, consultants, media partners, and marketing and company standardsResidential Marketing & Leasing PerformanceLead residential marketing strategies that maximize lease-up success, occupancy, resident retention, renewals, and revenue growthPartner with Community Management and Asset Management teams to develop data-driven marketing initiatives across the multifamily portfolioAnalyze market trends, customer insights, leasing performance, and competitive positioning to improve marketing effectivenessDrive measurable improvements in lead generation, conversion rates, resident engagement, and overall marketing performanceIdentify opportunities to enhance marketing technology, reporting, campaign automation, and lead management processesCapital Markets & Investor CommunicationsProvide strategic communications leadership supporting capital markets initiatives and investor relationsOversee development of fundraising presentations, investor communications, offering materials, and capital partner messagingEnsure investor-facing communications are accurate, compelling, and aligned with Thompson Thrift's brand standardsCoordinate production and delivery of capital markets materials across internal teams and external partnersOur Ideal Candidate for this RoleEducationBachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, or a related fieldExperience12+ years of progressive communications and marketing experienceMinimum of 6 years in a leadership or executive management roleExperience leading enterprise communications, integrated marketing, corporate branding, and strategic communications initiativesExperience supporting residential marketing, multifamily real estate, commercial real estate, construction, development, or property management preferredExperience supporting investor communications, fundraising initiatives, or capital markets activities preferredSkills & AttributesExecutive leadership experience guiding enterprise communications and marketing strategyExceptional written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skillsStrong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leadership and advise on complex business issuesProven expertise in corporate communications, branding, public relations, marketing strategy, and reputation managementAbility to translate complex business initiatives into compelling,
