Mechanical Engineer I

Mechanical Engineer PositionThis position is for a mechanical engineer to provide engineering support for field turnbacks received from the elevator field mechanics. The engineer plays a crucial role in maintaining product integrity, evaluating opportunities, and integrating new component designs into existing systems, while working to meet agreed upon cost and schedule commitments. Typical responsibilities include component design, modeling, cost analysis, technical documentation and testing of a wide range of elevator components. The candidate should be responsible, self-motivated, able to work individually, in an engineering and cross-functional team environments, have a strong background in mechanical engineering and a good understanding of the manufacturing process.
