Anesthesia - Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Job Title: CRNA Location: Ketchikan, Alaska Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM x 5 Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension Pay Rate: $198 - $213/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a CRNA for a locum tenens assignment in Ketchikan, Alaska. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a CRNA:

Provide anesthesia services as a CRNA in a Critical Access Hospital setting supporting all ages Work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with evening and weekend call coverage Participate in call rotation, currently structured as 2 on/2 off, depending on provider availability Perform and support general surgery cases, endoscopies, total joints, arthroscopies, peripheral nerve blocks, urology, ENT, and gynecology procedures Administer anesthesia for obstetric cases including C-sections and labor epidurals Provide pediatric anesthesia support for dental, ENT, and orthopedic cases Collaborate with General Surgery, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, Hospitalist, and Emergency Department physicians Manage an average of 5 to 15 patient contacts per day in an inpatient setting Utilize Epic EMR system proficiently for documentation and charting Maintain active Alaska state licensure prior to start of assignment Maintain current ACLS, ATLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications Maintain required clinical activity documentation including case logs covering the last 24 months Comply with COVID-19 vaccine requirement with no exemptions permitted
