Practice Environment
This opportunity is based within a community hospital emergency department in Whiteville, North Carolina. Providers will work alongside experienced nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nursing teams, and support staff within a 12-bed ED that includes a Fast Track with 5 beds. The department manages approximately 24,000 patient visits annually and uses Cerner EMR for clinical workflows.

Clinical Scope

• Emergency care for all ages
• Evaluation, stabilization, and treatment of acute medical and traumatic conditions
• Performs all privileges as delineated in the privileges list
• Documentation and order entry within Cerner EMR

Candidate Requirements

• Active, unrestricted North Carolina medical license
• Active DEA registration with North Carolina address
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
• Recent CME documentation (past 2 years)
• ACLS, PALS, ATLS preferred (required if not ABEM certified)
