Responsibilities:

Tax Planning & Compliance

• Assist with tax planning initiatives and compliance matters for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, partnerships, foundations, and closely held businesses.
• Coordinate tax filings and work closely with internal and external tax professionals.
• Research tax issues and assist with special tax projects and planning opportunities.
• Prepare and reconcile tax-related schedules and supporting documentation.

Financial Reporting & Accounting

• Prepare and review financial statements, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules across multiple entities.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting processes.
• Support cash flow analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting initiatives.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with internal controls and reporting requirements.

Investment & Family Office Operations

• Support accounting and reporting related to private equity, hedge fund, venture capital, and other alternative investments.
• Monitor capital calls, distributions, investment activity, and performance reporting.
• Assist with accounting and reporting for complex assets including real estate holdings, private businesses, artwork, aircraft, and other alternative assets.
• Participate in special projects related to entity structuring, estate planning, charitable initiatives, and wealth preservation strategies.

Client & Project Support

• Prepare financial analyses, presentations, and reporting packages for client meetings.
• Collaborate with senior advisors and accounting professionals on various client engagements and strategic initiatives.
• Serve as a trusted resource for client requests and ad hoc financial projects.
• Support ongoing efforts to improve processes, reporting, and operational efficiencies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA or CPA-track strongly preferred.
• 3-5+ years of public accounting, tax, audit, family office, or related accounting experience.
• Strong exposure to tax compliance and planning.
• Experience working with investment partnerships, alternative investments, or financial services clients preferred.
• High-net-worth individual, family office, private client, or wealth management experience is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
• Exceptional communication, professionalism, and emotional intelligence.
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and sound judgment.
• Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Base Salary: $120k- $150k plus bonus and excellent benefits and perks including, 401k with company match and profit sharing plan
