Continuous Improvement Manager | Spring Lake, MI

Salary Range: $92,000 - $139,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Spring Lake seeking Continuous Improvement Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the identification, prioritization, and execution of continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams in the application of Lean, Six Sigma, and other CI methodologies.
• Develop and implement robust tracking mechanisms for CI projects, measuring impact on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cost, quality, and delivery.
• Facilitate problem-solving sessions and workshops to identify root causes of operational inefficiencies and develop sustainable solutions.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement by providing training, coaching, and ongoing support to employees at all levels.
• Collaborate with leadership to define strategic improvement roadmaps and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Standardize best practices and ensure effective knowledge transfer across different manufacturing sites or departments.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience implementing Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies in a manufacturing environment.
• Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent.
• Proven track record of leading successful process improvement projects with measurable results.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of an organization.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification
• Experience with AI/ML tools for predictive analytics in manufacturing
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies and their application in continuous improvement
