Transplant Position

Location: Chicago, IL USA

Salary: The budgeted salary range for the position is $128,818 to $157,730. Final salary offered will be determined by a thorough assessment of available market data, internal salary equity, candidate experience and qualifications, and budget constraints. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the full range for a position.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduation from a nationally accredited APRN or PA training program.
• Current National Certification as Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP-BC)/Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (AGACNP-BC) by American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) OR as a Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) by the Nationally accredited and recognized certifying body Commission on Certification of Physicians Assistants (NCCPA) required.
• Current license as an APRN-CNP or Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) in the State of Illinois required.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
• Current Controlled Substance licensure and Federal DEA required.
• Effective communication skills (oral and written) that facilitate therapeutic relationships between physicians, APRN and PA providers as well as multi-disciplinary care team.
• Demonstrated experience in leadership, multidisciplinary collaboration, interpersonal communication, education, clinical experience.
• Ability to meet all requirements for medical staff privileges.

Preferred Qualifications

• Nursing Experience in a Transplant department and/or Transplant Quality Team preferred.
• Knowledge of Transplant Quality regulations preferred
• Ability to travel to offsite assigned transplant clinics.
