Laboratory Technician

Shift start time: 7:00 am (subject to change to 6:00 am in summer). Performance reviews (and compensation review). Summary The Quality Assurance Lab Technician II provides assistance for the Quality Assurance laboratory with various quality initiatives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assists in obtaining supplies and calibrating equipment. Analyzes production samples and raw material samples for physical and chemical characteristics. Investigates quality and production issues, including customer complaints, per supervisor requests. Prepares samples for internal and external customers as requested. Maintains quality production records in a timely manner. Ensures adherence to appropriate government regulations and company procedures. Completes any ad‑hoc task or project assigned by management, quality or production related. Qualifications Education: High School or GED preferred. Experience: Two (2) years of manufacturing or laboratory experience. Computer: Demonstrated high level of computer experience. Communication: Demonstrated good communication skills. Driver: Valid driver’s license; forklift certification is a plus (no driving required). Additional competencies include: Ability and knowledge in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability and knowledge in LIMS software.
