Based in Morristown, NJ with 3 offices across the region, we are a well-established full-service law firm known for its client-focused approach collaborative culture and commitment to delivering practical results. The firm is expanding and seeking an experienced Employment Law Associate Attorney to join a growing team handling sophisticated employer-side counseling and litigation matters. This role is ideal for a seasoned practitioner who values client advisory work courtroom experience and long-term professional stability within a supportive firm environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and analysis related to employment law compliance risk management and litigation matters
• Draft employment policies litigation documents demand responses and related counseling materials with accuracy and efficiency
• Represent employer clients in hearings depositions mediations and other employment-related proceedings
• Manage an assigned caseload independently while collaborating with senior attorneys on complex or high-exposure matters

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-approved law school with an active New Jersey license in good standing (New York Bar admission a plus)
• 3+ years of employment law experience with demonstrated counseling and litigation experience representing employers
• Strong organizational communication and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment
• Proficiency with legal research platforms case management systems and electronic document platforms preferred
