Senior Compliance Analyst

Seeking a detail-oriented Senior Compliance Analyst to work remotely on a full-time basis, this role will manage day-to-day compliance responsibilities for Shopify's financial products, contribute to the development of the compliance program, and identify opportunities for operational efficiency using AI and automation. Key responsibilities Own day-to-day compliance activities, including testing, monitoring, reporting, and responding to partner requests Collaborate to grow and streamline the compliance program in alignment with Shopify's risk profile Develop and maintain compliance policies and documentation, addressing gaps to ensure effectiveness Required qualifications Foundational experience in compliance, audit, risk, or a related function with exposure to financial services, fintech, or payments Proven track record in compliance monitoring, testing, and audit activities Strong organizational skills to manage multiple workstreams and shifting priorities Ability to quickly learn new regulatory frameworks and become productive independently Experience with AI or automation tools to enhance compliance workflows
