Position Summary As the housekeeper and activities coordinator, you will work throughout the community to create a safe, secure and inviting environment. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and pristine environment that promotes a homelike atmosphere. You will also provide an enriching life experience by coordinating and executing life engagement activities with all residents. You will work with a team that encourages and supports the residents in ‘Living Life On Purpose’ by focusing on Pillars (Physical Fitness, Brain Fitness, Dining Experience and Social/Spiritual Enrichment). Shift Availability Full time day shift Wage: 15/hour Responsibilities Able to sweep, mop, and polish floors; sanitize areas, vacuum carpets; clean restrooms; wash windows and walls; move and arrange furniture and equipment; and pick up outside garbage. Works in cooperation with all other team members of the facility to maintain a clean and sanitary environment for both residents and team members. Stocks common areas, replaces light bulbs, tidies throughout the day, and eliminates trip hazards. Adheres to community's safety program at all times including handling and storage of chemicals and equipment. Understands and carries out oral and written directions. Champions hospitality and delivers excellent customer service to residents, families, visitors, and vendors. Ensures an attractive home environment that fosters engagement, socialization and purposeful living. Assists with the creation and execution for the calendar and the personal schedules for the assigned neighborhood Ensures an abundant amount of supplies and working technology is available to the residents Continually invites, encourage and assists the residents in all activities Sets up agenda for evening engagement, present plan to evening Caregivers and follow up the next day to ensure the plan was executed Assists the team with the monthly budget to provide food, engagement, and educational activities. Communicates and interacts with residents, families and team members in a kind, respectful and effective way. Qualifications High school diploma or work equivalency Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks Ability to make decisions and act in the residents' best interest Ability to work in a team environment.
