Job Overview Warehouse Associate – Hourly Rate $17.00 We are a rapidly expanding national distributor of automotive replacement parts, tools, equipment and transmissions headquartered in Long Island, New York. Parts Authority is hiring Warehouse Associates to support our supply‑chain operations across 300+ locations. Responsibilities Receive, label, and store incoming shipments. Inspect stock for damages and maintain accurate inventory records. Scan items into the warehouse management system. Prepare and pick orders for shipment. Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and powered industrial equipment. Record arrival and departure times for shipments. Perform routine cleaning and maintain a safe storage area. Interface with management to ensure objectives are met. Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Qualifications Accurately follow written and verbal directions. Maintain productivity and quality standards. Regularly lift, push, pull, or move objects 10–50 lbs; occasionally up to 100 lbs. Frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and reaching. Occasional sitting, climbing ladders or stairs, and maintaining balance. Work in various environmental conditions. Operate in narrow aisles or passageways. Require good vision across all typical visual ranges. Attention to detail, strong communication, and time‑management skills. Ability to work well under pressure and collaboratively with supervisors and staff. Open availability; flexible and able to work various shifts, including overtime. 1–2 years of warehouse experience preferred. Familiarity with warehouse safety measures.
