Store Manager - Zales Outlet - Las Vegas North Premium Outlets

Position Title Store Manager Reports To District Manager Position Summary Lead the day‑to‑day operations of a single store, achieving sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, inventory control, brand representation, and team growth. Work closely with District Management to execute corporate initiatives and develop a People‑First store culture that fosters diversity, inclusion, and strong customer relationships. Responsibilities Communicate performance expectations and ensure all team members understand the impact of their performance on company success. Coach and develop store staff to consistently represent the brand in customer interactions, store visuals, and marketing execution. Ensure an exceptional customer experience through training, outreach, and clear expectations; empower staff to resolve issues within established parameters. Achieve sales projections and quotas by developing strategies that maximize personal and team sales potential. Identify operational successes and improvement opportunities; coach staff to address and correct root causes of problems. Monitor and analyze reports to identify trends and opportunities, and develop plans to address issues. Maintain awareness of competitor offerings and advise management on new or changing merchandise and services needs. Collaborate with nearby Signet store managers to foster open communication, resource sharing, and shared objectives. Support the selection, onboarding, and ongoing coaching of talent in operations, sales, customer service, product knowledge, inventory control, and visual merchandising. Maintain accurate team‑member data in system records to ensure eligibility for Total Rewards. Enforce compliance with company policies, practices, and safety standards. Control discounting, expenses, payroll, and repair department operations to increase profit margins. Schedule a five‑day, 40‑hour work week during non‑peak periods, with flexibility for peak selling hours and weekend/holiday coverage. Qualifications Minimum of 2years of college education preferred. At least 3years of retail sales experience OR 2years of retail sales experience with a minimum of 1year of retail management experience. Preference for candidates with specialty retail or jewelry experience and DCA certification. Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal; proficiency in MS Office and related business tools. Strong interpersonal, presentation, problem‑solving, and conflict‑management skills. Ability to plan, organize, and set priorities independently; effective delegation skills. Bilingual skills are a plus. Physical Demands Stand, reach with hands and arms, and move between display cases to handle merchandise; sit, stoop, bend, kneel or crouch as needed. Lift or move up to 10pounds. Require visual acuity for gemstone quality assessment. Standard work week includes weekends, evenings, and holidays; travel for training and business meetings, including air travel, may be required.
