About the Role
Rowbel Services is looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll be the expert our clients rely on — diagnosing problems quickly, performing quality repairs, and keeping commercial and residential systems running at peak performance. What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including rooftop units, split systems, boilers, chillers, and heat pumps.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal system performance and longevity.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in HVAC equipment.
- Replace or repair defective components such as motors, compressors, fans, and thermostats.
- Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding service findings and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate service records, including work performed, parts used, and system conditions.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and company policies.
Qualifications
Required:
- 4+ years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician or in a similar role.
- EPA 608 certification.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical circuits, and mechanical components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred:
- NATE certification or equivalent.
- Experience with commercial HVAC systems and equipment.
- Familiarity with digital service tools and mobile work order platforms.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: Up to $50/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
