Surgical Dental Assistant

Overview Graig D. Brown, DDS, is seeking an experienced Surgical Dental Assistant to join our established periodontal practice in Tucson. We are looking for a dependable, team-oriented professional with strong surgical assisting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a compassionate approach to patient care. Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Thursday | 7:30 AM-5:00 PM Work Location: In Person - Tucson, AZ Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

- Assist the doctor during periodontal, implant, and oral surgery procedures
- Take digital X-rays and assist with cone beam CT imaging
- Prepare, sterilize, and maintain instruments and operatories
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Schedule follow-up and post-op appointments
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
- Monitor inventory and maintain clinical supplies
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, infection control, and safety standards
- Support a positive patient experience and maintain relationships with referring offices
- Certified Dental Assistant (Required)
- Arizona X-Ray/Radiology Certification (Required)
- Minimum 2 years of surgical dental assisting experience (Required)
- Dental implant surgical experience (Required)
- Experience with digital radiography and CT imaging
- Dentrix experience preferred but not required
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
