Project Manager

South Bay Construction | Full-Time

South Bay Construction is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager with a strong background in tenant improvements, ground-up new construction, and team leadership . This role manages projects from preconstruction through closeout while maintaining schedule, budget, quality, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial TI and ground-up construction projects from start to finish
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controls
• Lead project teams including superintendents, subcontractors, and vendors
• Serve as primary point of contact for owners, architects, and consultants
• Manage contracts, subcontracts, change orders, and pay applications
• Ensure compliance with plans, codes, and safety requirements
• Conduct project meetings and provide clear reporting

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience
• Proven experience with tenant improvements and new construction
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Autodesk, Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar tools
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
