Pay range - $60 to $62 for local candidates

Pay range - $65 to $68 for travelers (Must be 75 miles)

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in Utica, New York. The ideal candidate will have strong ED experience, pediatric patient exposure, and previous travel nursing experience. Candidates with charge nurse capabilities are highly preferred.

• Shift: 2:30 PM 3:00 AM (12-Hour Evening Shift)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours per Week
• Local and Travel Candidates Accepted
• Floating Required
• On-Call: Not Required

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients across all age groups, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
• Assess, prioritize, and manage patients presenting with emergency conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
• Monitor and document patient conditions accurately within the electronic medical record system.
• Respond effectively to critical care situations and trauma activations.

  • 2 Triage Beds
  • 40 Acute Care Beds
  • 6 Super Track Beds
  • 2 Trauma Bays
  • 10 Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) Beds
  • 6 Psychiatric Beds

• Rapid Infusor
• Arctic Sun

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience
• Pediatric emergency care experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Charge nurse experience is highly preferred

• Active New York RN License
• Current AHA BLS Certification
• Current AHA ACLS Certification
• Current PALS Certification
• Current NIHSS Certification
• Current TNCC Certification (must be in hand at submission)
