MRI Technologist Radiology

Shift: 4x10s, 15000130, MondayThursday No weekends or call required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Required certifications/licenses: BLS, ARRT (R), ARRT (MR), Washington State radiology & MR licensure
• Experience in adult acute care, outpatient, ER/Trauma, pediatric acute care, and pediatric outpatient settings
• Trauma level I experience preferred
• Proficiency in diagnostic MRI across all age groups (brain, MSK, abdomen, pelvis, MRA/MRV)
• Competency in general radiography/X-ray
• Experience with PACS and image management; knowledge of radiation safety
• Ability to prepare/administrate contrast media and start IVs
• Experience with GE and Siemens equipment preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI procedures for diverse patient populations, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
• Conduct general radiography/X-ray procedures as needed.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Manage imaging quality and uphold radiation safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.

Compliance / Notes:

• Two references required (covering 1 year within the last 3 years).
• Completion of onboarding modules typically around 16 hours pre-start, recorded in the system.
• All facilities honor active compact license; Washington State licensure required for the position.
