Application Engineer

The Application Engineer will be responsible for creating functionality improvements, designing and introducing standardization of corporate software applications. You will support SAP connection activities, registration, SAP security, and remote ensuring the development life cycle activities are consistent with general best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain SAP Basis Administration on ECC 6.0. and support all current SAP interface systems including SAP daily, weekly, and monthly background batch jobs, SAP batch input sessions, SAP report spooling maintenance and support SAP user connectivity.
• Create and maintain documentation of all processes and procedures according to company polices procedures and standards. Perform Use Acceptance Testing on letter, forms, workflow and production jobs ensuring company JSOX compliance and business are met.
• Maintain and control SAP user access level including user registration, SAP profile generator, SAP security authorization objects. Maintain SAP transaction codes and control data access level by company and profit center levels.
• Maintain and support Cisco AnyConnect VPN & 2 factors RSA token software for remote accessing SAP software.
• Maintain and support IPSwitch SFTP file transfer software, Sterling Gentran EDI mapping software. Manage and maintain SAP IDOC and IBM Gentran mapping.
• Liaison between SAP Helpdesk/configuration team and SAP users on any items related to SAP development objects, and SAP FI/SDMM reporting system.
• Responsible for proactive monitoring of critical systems such as SAP interface data jobs, FTP bank data files transmission and support.
• Responsible for daily data transfers between TMS Finance Treasury system and SAP ERP system.
• Maintain and manage the data center working with software vendors and data carriers on system outages.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in related field required.
• Minimum 3 years' experience with SAP Basis Administration, SAP Security Authorization Objects.
• Knowledge of new technologies (UiPath, Nintex Workflows) is preferred.
• Experience managing vendors and interfaces to other subsystems; SFTP connections to banks; RFC connection to SAP Concur.
• Strong knowledge of a range of Server/client, Active Directory concepts and security solutions, such as VPN under Windows environment.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and reporting skills.
• Ability to multitask, remain effective under stress, and work outside of office hours.
• Strong project management skills, interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
