ASSURANCE MANAGED SERVICES SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT

Job Overview The Global Solutions team leads investment to create and enhance our Assurance Managed Services solution portfolio, working closely with business domain leaders to define the global vision and set standards for managed services delivery. We are seeking experienced Solution Architects to partner with domain leaders, shape, design, and commercialise managed services offerings, translating market opportunities and customer requirements into scalable, operationally and commercially viable architectures. Key Responsibilities Strategic Business Alignment Partner with business domain leaders to understand strategic objectives, market opportunities, and growth targets. Facilitate structured discovery sessions ensuring client, EY, and third‑party requirements are captured and considered throughout the development lifecycle. Translate strategy and requirements into clear managed services value propositions and architecture roadmaps. Managed Services Architecture Design end-to-end business architectures that incorporate standardized, scalable constructs for repeatability and margin optimisation. Lead overall solution architecture, ensuring alignment between business, technology, operations, controls, and governance: Define scope and service blueprints, client experience frameworks, process and controls design, technology architecture, operating model, lifecycle model, SLA/OLA frameworks, compliance with regulatory and security frameworks, delivery model, and commercial pricing. Ensure compliance with SOC1, SOC2, and other regulatory requirements. Collaborate with security, data security, quality, risk, and independence stakeholders. Contribute to the design and development of the Managed Services Orchestrator. Commercial & Financial Modeling Support business case development: revenue projections, cost structures, margin modelling, and investment requirements. Align service design with target financial outcomes and go‑to‑market strategy. Contribute to pricing strategy, packaging, and monetisation frameworks. Ensure robust cost and effort estimation covering design, development, transition, operation, maintenance, and exit costs. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Work closely with Product, Sales, Delivery, Finance, Technology, and Operations teams and alliance partners. Provide architectural leadership during engagement pursuits and client engagements. Advise on organisational change, process, controls, and technology development teams during solution design and build. Act as trusted architecture advisor to executive leadership. Standardisation & Continuous Improvement Conduct horizon scanning to identify industry and technology trends and assess impact for Assurance Managed Services. Establish KPIs and performance metrics for service effectiveness and profitability. Drive standardisation, automation, and continuous improvement across offerings, ensuring alignment with architecture policies. Monitor and manage content quality in the global architecture repositories. Domain Lead Responsibilities Business and Service Architecture Lead Own and maintain the Assurance Managed Services business, process and controls architecture and standards. Design modular solutions, enabling flexible bundling and integration to meet client needs. Define audit‑readiness and compliance approach for SOC1 and SOC2 and support related projects. Guide technology development teams throughout the lifecycle to meet business requirements and standards. Ensure training on processes and controls for the team. Technology Architecture Lead Own and maintain the Assurance Managed Services technology architecture and standards. Guide technology development teams to meet business requirements and architectural standards. Ensure understanding of IT security standards required for solutions and operations. Provide technology training to the team. Qualifications Business & Service Architecture Lead Bachelor’s‑level qualification in Management, Finance or Accounting. Minimum of 10 years’ experience managing end‑to‑end architecture for managed services or outsourced solutions. Technology Architecture Lead Bachelor’s‑level qualification in Computer Science or Information Technology. Minimum of 10 years’ experience with agile, iterative and conventional development methodologies applied to platform, transactional, and analytical systems. Preferred Credentials Business & Service Architecture Lead Certification in an Enterprise Architecture method such as TOGAF. Technology Architecture Lead Certification or experience building solutions using cloud (preferably Azure) and public SaaS platforms (ideally including SAP). Desired Attributes Clear communication skills and ability to engage with architecture professionals, senior leaders, and clients. Leadership of multidisciplinary teams to solve business problems. Drive adoption of enterprise, data, technology, and process architecture tools. Proven experience designing and commercialising managed services offerings. Strong understanding of business architecture frameworks (capability modelling, value streams, operating models). Ability to translate market opportunity into structured service offerings. Experience building financial models and supporting business cases. Experience across multiple business domains and global delivery models. Familiarity with TOGAF and ITIL frameworks. Compensation & Benefits Base salary range for the US: $138,200 to $266,000; metro locations: New York, Washington, California (excluding Sacramento) $165,800 to $302,300.
