Lustre File Systems Development Manager

Salary: $166,400 - 287,700 per year Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience managing engineering teams.
• At least 7 years of direct experience working within engineering teams.
• 3 years of experience in designing or architecting systems (design patterns, reliability, scaling) for both new and existing applications.
• 8 years of experience leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services.
• Familiarity with engineering practices and patterns throughout the full software/hardware/networks development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and live-site operations.
• Experience collaborating with product or program management teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of software engineers to achieve delivery and operational excellence for an AWS service.
• Recruit, mentor, and promote engineers within the team.
• Collaborate with various teams across AWS to develop innovative solutions.
• Establish mechanisms to uphold the highest standards within the team.
• Work alongside product managers, principal engineers, and senior leadership to outline the technical roadmap and strategy for FSx.
