On Call Residential Care Associate I - Southern Oregon Position Overview We are seeking an On Call Residential Care Associate I to join our team in the Southern Oregon region. The role involves providing caring companionship and assistance with daily tasks to clients, supporting personal care services, helping individuals develop daily living skills and independence, preparing meals, and encouraging client participation. Under guidance of a Registered Nurse, the associate will pass medications and perform delegated medical care as prescribed by the client’s primary care provider. They will transport clients to and from the program as necessary and maintain compliance with productivity standards for documentation of services. Key Responsibilities Provide caring companionship and assistance with daily tasks to clients. Assist with meal preparation, clean-up, and food purchasing while encouraging client participation. Pass medications and perform delegated medical care under RN guidance. Transport clients to and from the program as required. Maintain compliance with documentation and productivity standards. Respond to facility coverage requests within 2 hours of initial call. Related Requirements On call staff must work a minimum of 32 shift hours per month. On call staff must attend a minimum of one staff meeting per month (and clinical supervision if a QMHA). On call staff must stay current on company training. Training Program With our MHACBO‑accredited training program, you will earn CEUs toward applicable mental health certifications while attending required paid training and receiving qualified clinical supervision and on‑job experience. Work Schedule Days/hours vary and may include holidays, weekends, and night shifts. Compensation and Benefits Hourly wage: $20.60–$21.86 DOE/Credentials. Night shift differential: additional $3.00 per hour for shifts including at least 2.5 hours between 10:00 pm and 8:30 am. Language differential: additional 5% for bilingual or multilingual candidates. A dedication to the wellbeing of each resident and helping them complete activities of daily living (ADLs) and independent activities of daily living (IADLs). Driving Requirements Driving is an essential function of this position. Successful applicants must provide a valid driver’s license from their state of residence or obtain and submit one within 30 days of hire, maintain a safe driving record, and have the ability to pass a DHS criminal background check. Physical Demands Requires frequent talking, listening, hand use, reaching, standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, climbing stairs, and lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 40 pounds. May require occasional ladder use, squatting/kneeling, and other physical tasks. Must successfully complete crisis de‑escalation and CPR trainings involving hands‑on maneuvers and client transfer.
