Speech-Language Pathologist

Tredyffrin/Easttown School District is seeking collaborative, student-centered professionals to provide speech and language services to students with a variety of communication needs. Successful candidates will work as members of multidisciplinary educational teams and collaborate closely with teachers, families, administrators, special education staff, and related service providers to support student achievement and access to the educational program.

Responsibilities Include:

• Evaluating students to identify speech, language, and communication needs and determine educational impact.
• Developing and implementing appropriate IEP goals and speech-language services.
• Providing individual, small-group, classroom-based, and consultative services based upon student needs.
• Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate data and documentation.
• Preparing evaluation reports and completing required special education documentation within established timelines.
• Collaborating with teachers, families, special education staff, and other related service providers.
• Providing strategies and consultation to support student communication across educational settings.
• Supporting students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, pragmatic/social communication, and other communication needs.
• Supporting students who use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), as appropriate.
• Participating in IEP, evaluation, multidisciplinary, and student support team meetings.
• Utilizing evidence-based practices and current technology to support student communication and learning.

Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania certification appropriate for providing speech and language services in a public school setting required.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or related field is preferred.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred.
• Knowledge of special education requirements, IEP development, assessment, and progress monitoring.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to meeting the individual needs of students and working as part of a collaborative educational team.
