Key Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming shipments from trucks and carriers.
• Verify received materials against purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documents.
• Inspect incoming goods for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues.
• Sort, label, and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Update material order sheets with receipt status, pricing, supplier information, and inventory records.
• Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging, weighing, and measuring items.
• Generate shipping labels and complete required shipping documentation.
• Load packages and materials onto delivery vehicles for shipment.
• Track shipment status and resolve shipping-related issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory and material records.
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.
• Manage and maintain supplier files and procurement records.
• Maintain accurate government property records and documentation.
• Perform monthly government property audits/walk-throughs to verify equipment locations and asset accuracy.
• Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Handle and store HAZMAT materials in compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
• Follow OSHA safety procedures and company policies.
• Collaborate with internal departments and vendors to ensure timely material flow.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications for tracking, reporting, and recordkeeping.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with cycle counting and inventory control.
• HAZMAT handling experience and certification preferred.
• Forklift Certification.
• OSHA Safety Certification.
