Systems Architect

System ArchitectThe Division of Information Systems Administration (ISA) is seeking the services of an experienced consultant to act as System Architect for several strategically aligned Enterprise projects. The consultant System Architect shall have proven experience in researching, planning and developing technology road maps. The consultant will be required to interface with our business stakeholders and IT personnel to convert complex business requirements into technical requirements.The consultant Systems Architect shall perform the following tasks to include but not limited to:Function as a team lead across multiple IT sections.Conduct system upgrades for.NET clusters and COTS solutions.Provides training and instruction to team members when needed.Document existing infrastructure.Develop public cloud migration documentation for identified workloads.Provide cost and benefit analysis on technology road maps.Provide summary reports to leadership.Aid with day-to-day operations.Review Disaster Recovery plans.Research, plan and develop technology roadmaps as indicated below:The System Architect will serve as lead developing technology roadmaps for several complex initiatives across multiple IT sections. The roadmap should reflect all key milestones, cost and benefits analysis for implementation.The System Architect will serve as lead for conducting system upgrades for.Net clusters, COTS Solutions and providing training to team members.The system Architect will gather requirements to document the existing infrastructure. As is documentation, TO BE and provide a GAP analysis.The System Architect shall work directly with the infrastructure teams to provide weekly updates, including but not limited to, status of functional teams; potential risks; and identified issues, which shall be submitted to the Service Operations, Chief and Deputy Director, ISA Operations.The System Architect will work to develop and document a framework for integration and implementation for changes to technical standards.Provide technical guidance to project teams as appropriate.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA’s) Systems Architect Experience:7+ years of Infrastructure and Solution design experience7+ years of expert/lead technical experience7+ years of proven experience as a technical manager, leading technical staff through business-critical operations.7+ years of proven experience leading enterprise level multtenant cloud infrastructure.Proven experience working on projects/issues of high complexity that require in-depth knowledge across multiple technical areasProven experience mentoring technical supervisor and support engineers.
