Job No: 500905 Job Type: Staff – Part‑Time Location: Health Science Campus Hospital, Toledo, OH Shift: 1 Float: True Rotate: True On Call: True Travel: False Employee Classification: B6 – Unclass Part‑Time AFSCME HSC Job Description Maintains standards of professional nursing practice and coordinates total nursing care for patients with consideration of their specific age needs. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with other health‑care professionals. Minimum Qualifications Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio. Current BLS certification. BSN preferred. Two years of oncology experience preferred; chemotherapy training required or obtained within 60 days of hire. Oncology nursing certification preferred. Clinical experience preferred. Computer experience preferred – Word, Excel. Current practice management software preferred. EMR experience preferred. Willingness to rotate shifts and units. Communication and Other Skills Able to document care legibly in hand‑written text. Ability to navigate through the EMR and record required data accurately and efficiently. Ability to communicate and collaborate with team members including physicians, nurses, managers, medical assistants and other staff.
