Make your mark as a Diesel Technician - Mobile Mechanic with National Wrecker Service in Portsmouth, NH!

Job Snapshot:

• Pay: $38/hr starting pay, plus night-call incentives
• Schedule: This full-time role follows a 4-day on / 4-day off rotation, including 8am–8pm on-site shifts and on-call responsibilities from 8pm–8am during the same four days. Mechanics who live close to the central location may take their truck home for after-hours calls.

Who We're Looking For:

• Diesel mechanic experience
• Heavy truck repair experience
• Knowledge of all makes, including Cummins, Detroit, International, Hino, Isuzu, etc.
• Knowledge of computer diagnostics and electrical systems
• Knowledge of air system diagnostics and repairs
• Understanding of steering, suspension, air brakes, and general truck systems
• Current medical card
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

What You'll Do As Our Diesel Technician - Mobile Mechanic:

• Provide on‑site repairs and maintenance for diesel trucks and trailers
• Work with engines from Cummins, Detroit, International, Hino, Isuzu, and others
• Perform computer diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting
• Repair air systems, suspension, steering components, and air brakes
• Apply strong diesel knowledge and heavy-truck repair experience in the field
