Recruiting Internship for a Full-Service Recruiting Firm

Treehouse Partners is a full-service recruiting firm offering superior talent placement and a fresh perspective on human capital. We are seeking a summer intern who will help support our expanding business. Interns for Treehouse Partners will have the opportunity to view the job search and recruiting process from beginning to end. The intern will gain a thorough understanding of the interview process, the components of a strong resume, and an understanding of how to match skills to job descriptions. Sourcing - finding candidates on LinkedIn, Indeed, and other platforms - will make up a large chunk of the day-to-day work. In addition, you will see first-hand how a growing company expands and gains clients.

The internship is flexible on start/end date and will be ~20+ hours/week, but may ramp up or down depending on Treehouse's needs and intern availability. Candidates must be based in Los Angeles, with the ability to meet with our LA-based team members in person occasionally, and will work from home the rest of the time.

Responsibilities :
- Source qualified candidates for active jobs from LinkedIn, Indeed, and any other relevant platforms for the recruiting team to review
- Handle administrative duties including support functions for the recruiters, including email management, expense reporting, and calendaring
- Assist in adding candidates to recruiting database, communicating with candidates, and setting up interviews
- Work with Recruiting Director and Account Director to research and compile lists of potential clients
- Take notes on team meetings, emailing a recap for everyone after the meeting is wrapped
- Send weekly follow-ups to passive candidates through the CRM system
- Assist in social media efforts (posting new jobs to social media channels, finding articles to post, etc.)
- Draft emails to current and potential clients on behalf of the CEO
- Research networking events for CEO to attend
- Record information regarding candidates and clients into recruiting software
- Assist staff with other special projects as needed - researching email newsletter platforms, finding podcasts guest spots for the CEO, and partaking in AI/automation upgrades are examples of likely projects for summer 2026

Qualifications :
- Currently enrolled in an accredited 4-year college or university (ideally as a Junior or Senior - unfortunately, we are unable to consider candidates who have already graduated or who will be graduating in the spring semester of 2026)
- Has excellent computer skills and working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
- Strong ability to work independently - because much of this internship is remote, the ability to take projects and run with them is critical
- Desire to learn and grow with a dynamic, high-energy team
- Interested in working in an entrepreneurial environment
- Previous internship experience, strongly preferred
- Comfortable asking questions and taking direction from recruiting team
- Possesses time-management, organization, and communication skills
- Can multitask and deal with ever-shifting priorities
