Attorney - Same work as biglaw IP. Just less... biglaw

This is a chance to step into a true IP litigation boutique that punches like a big firm without the bureaucracy. The team handles high‑stakes patent, trade secret, and technology disputes across the country, with a heavy presence in Texas patent venues (EDTX/WDTX). You'll work directly with experienced trial lawyers in a lean environment where cases aren't overstaffed and strategy actually matters. Expect front‑end responsibility, real courtroom exposure, and a mix of plaintiff and defense‑side work.

Salary: $220,000 – $245,000 per year

Job Details

• 7+ years of intellectual property litigation experience
• Strong background in patent litigation (both plaintiff and defense preferred)
• Technical degree required: Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar
• Clear strength in software, systems, or programming‑related technologies
• Experience in federal court litigation and trial prep
• Comfort working in a lean, high‑responsibility environment
• Lead and support patent litigation matters from complaint through trial
• Handle Markman briefing, discovery, depositions, and motion practice
• Work on USPTO proceedings (IPR, reexams, post‑grant) alongside litigation strategy
• Collaborate with clients on IP monetization, licensing strategy, and enforcement
• Translate complex technical concepts into compelling litigation narratives for courts and juries
