Business Manager/ Account Manager

A well-established business management firm is seeking an experienced Business Manager / Account Manager to join its team. This individual will oversee the day‑to‑day financial and accounting needs of a portfolio of clients while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of relevant business management, accounting, or client accounting experience and be comfortable managing multiple client relationships and priorities. Tax preparation experience is a plus but not required. Responsibilities Manage the day‑to‑day accounting and financial needs of assigned clients Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and maintain strong, responsive relationships Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activity Perform bank and credit card reconciliations Review and maintain accurate financial records Prepare financial reports and provide clients with visibility into cash flow and financial activity Coordinate payments, wires, ACH transactions, and other banking activity Work closely with internal team members, outside CPAs, tax professionals, and other client advisors Assist with year‑end accounting and tax‑related information as needed Maintain accurate client records using QuickBooks Manage multiple client deadlines and priorities in a fast‑paced environment Qualifications 5–10 years of relevant experience in business management, client accounting, family office, or a similar accounting environment Strong hands‑on accounting and bookkeeping knowledge Experience with QuickBooks Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to independently manage multiple clients and competing priorities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Tax preparation experience is a plus, but not required #J-18808-Ljbffr Navigate Search
