Role Description The Global Employee Communications Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Albany, NY. This role is responsible for planning, drafting, and delivering clear, engaging internal communications that connect employees with company strategy, priorities, and culture. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing communication plans for key initiatives, creating content for emails, intranet, town halls, and leadership messages, and ensuring consistent messaging across channels and regions. The specialist will partner with HR, leadership, and functional teams to support change communications, employee engagement campaigns, and global events. The role also involves measuring communication effectiveness, gathering feedback, and continuously improving formats and channels to reach a diverse, global workforce. Qualifications Strong communication skills, including the ability to translate complex topics into clear, concise messages tailored to different audiences. Experience in internal communications and corporate communications, with a track record of supporting organizational initiatives through effective messaging. Proficiency in strategic communications, including planning, channel selection, and message alignment with business goals. Demonstrated experience in employee engagement, including designing or supporting programs that build connection, morale, and culture. Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional and global teams, including senior leaders and HR partners. Strong writing, editing, and storytelling capabilities across digital and live communication formats (email, intranet, presentations, events). Comfort using communication and collaboration tools (e.g., intranet platforms, newsletters, video conferencing, presentation software). Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
