Business Analyst-SeniorLocation: Indianapolis IN, 46204 Locals onlyThis position is hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days remote).The position is also responsible for researching electronic data issues and testing all electronic data received from submitters.Essential Duties/Responsibilities:Work through complex issues that include creating test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts mapped to workflow, and system design requirements.Replicate, isolate, and identify a root cause while providing workarounds and testing, fixes, and patches in a staging or test environment.Monitor system issues and provide feedback.Research and resolve front-end/user and back-end/system problems by diagnosing the root cause, hypothesizing, and mapping out a possible solution, and testing the solution in the QA environment.Resolve issues by engaging appropriate business/policy staff, software developers and/or vendor specialists.Assist users in monitoring and analyzing their data via SQL querying and reporting.Work closely with end users, project management, application developers, and others to understand features and create a robust, comprehensive test strategy to verify functionality.Skills - Required/ Desire - Years of experience required - Years of experience have - Last usedExperience writing, refining, and analyzing SQL queries to answer questions and resolve issues - Required - 7 yearsExtensive SQL skills - Required - 7Experience creating test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts mapped to workflow, and system design requirements - Required - 7Strong experience debugging applications - Required - 7Curiosity with the ability to problem-solve in a creative but vigilant manner - RequiredCritical thinking skills with a strong emphasis on accuracy, precision, and logical reasoning - RequiredVerbal and written communication skills - RequiredUser-level experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. - RequiredExperience in public health or medical related industry - Highly desired
