Job Title Urology Physician – Independent Practice Physician (Ownership Model, Not Employed) Overview Independent practice opportunity at MedCBO. Physicians own and operate their own practice entity while MedCBO provides non‑clinical business and operational support. Physician Responsibilities Provide urology care within the physician’s scope of practice Develop professional relationships within the medical community Coordinate payer credentialing and hospital/facility privileges Determine clinical services offered Manage clinical quality and patient experience Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination Billing and collections management Payer contract negotiation Financial infrastructure and reporting Operational workflows, staffing systems, HR administration Technology platform, EHR, telehealth, and clinical workflow systems Supply‑chain and vendor coordination Requirements MD or DO with an unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology or appropriate specialty Eligibility for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates No current disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice Interest in the independent practice model Preferred Desire for practice ownership Community‑based care interest Leadership or program development interest Location Multiple U.S. markets available. Relocation and market selection are physician‑directed, subject to licensure. Compensation Compensation is generated by the physician‑owned practice. Results vary based on specialty scope, services offered, payer mix, physician activity, and local market conditions. No guaranteed income is provided.
