We are seeking a skilled and motivated Pipe Fitter to join our team in Georgetown, SC, 29440. As a Pipe Fitter, you will play a crucial role in the installation, assembly, and maintenance of piping systems. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for precision, this is the perfect opportunity for you to showcase your expertise in a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities- Install and assemble piping systems according to specifications and blueprints.
- Measure and cut pipes to required lengths using various tools and equipment.
- Connect piping systems to water, gas, or other utilities as needed.
- Inspect and test piping systems for leaks and other issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to ensure project completion.
- Document work performed and report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in plumbing or pipe fitting is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of pipe systems, materials, and installation techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
