We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Millwright to join our team in Georgetown, SC, 29440. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and repairing our machinery and equipment, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. If you have a passion for hands-on work and a knack for problem-solving, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment in accordance with specifications.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and safety standards.
- Document maintenance activities and report any issues to management.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Millwright or in a similar role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
