Warehouse Specialist I
Location: North Chicago, IL
Pay Rate: $19.05 - $20.00/hr
Duration: 3 Months

Job Description

Perform warehouse operations including receiving, storage, material movement, picking, packing, shipping, staging, and delivery of products. Handle temperature-sensitive, hazardous, high-value, and regulated inventory while maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. Operate material handling equipment and RF scanning systems to support inventory and distribution activities.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED

Required Skills

• Warehouse operations: receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory movement
• RF scanner operation and inventory tracking systems
• Material handling equipment operation (forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse tools)
• Handling of hazardous, temperature-sensitive, and high-value products
• Microsoft Office and warehouse computer systems proficiency
• Ability to wear required PPE and follow warehouse safety procedures
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more with assistance and perform continuous physical warehouse activities

Preferred Skills

• Experience in regulated warehouse or distribution environments
• Knowledge of inventory control and product traceability processes
• Experience working with warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Familiarity with quality, safety, and compliance requirements for controlled inventory
