You will join a busy logistics and distribution location, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security‑related incidents, and support access activity with professionalism and care. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule Sat: 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM Sun: 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and site personnel by following security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity according to site guidelines. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access as directed by site procedures, and communicate with site contacts regarding deliveries, visitor activity, and operational concerns. Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, providing clear directions to drivers and visitors, and completing required reports related to security‑related incidents and patrol activities. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
