Truck Driver CDL A Regional Solo

Position Description Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Kansas City, KS. The role offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about. Pay & Benefits Average $1,900+ per week. Paid weekly. Hourly pay: $26.00 per hour plus $1 per hour for every 3 certifications or endorsements. Hours: 40+ hours per week. Paid training. Schedule Monday through Friday with flexibility required. Top 10% of drivers earn $115,000+ annually. Overtime paid after 40 hours.

• 50 per diem per night.
• 1,000 annual tenure bonus.

Trailer types: flatbed, dry van, reefer, conestoga, curtainside, container. Equipment: pallet jack, rollers, lift gate, Moffett. Freight: Touch and No touch. Load securement (strapping, tarping, chaining) required. Paid travel with overnight stays in Ryder-booked hotel or sleeper. Requirements Minimum 21 years of age. Pass a Ryder drug test. Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check and drug/alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years. Pass a DOT physical. Pass a Ryder road test. Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements. Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months within the past 3 years, or 2 years within the last 5 years, or 5 years within the last 10 years. Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions. Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Responsibilities Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards and guidelines. Detecting, eliminating or minimizing safety hazards. Maintaining accurate records and logs. Loading/unloading freight or assisting customer loading/unloading if required. Performing other duties as assigned.
