Driver Positions Pay Weekly Top 10% of drivers earn $115,000+ annually Hourly Pay: $29.00 Per Hour + $1 per hour for every 3 endorsements Hours Per Week: 40+ hours per week Per Diem Pay: $50 per night Overnight stays for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel Tenure Bonus: Pays You $1,000 Each Year on Anniversary Paid Training Schedule: Monday – Friday with flexibility required Choosing a driving career is a big decision. Deliver SOLOTo: IL, WI, MO, MN, KS, IA, NE, ND, and SD Route: Regional Tractor Type: Day cabs, sleepers, and occasional straight trucks Trailer Type: flatbed, dry van, reefer, conestoga, curtainside, and container Equipment: pallet jack, rollers, lift gate, Moffett Freight: Touch and No-Touch Load securement experience required (strapping, tarping, chaining) Ryder Drivers operate well‑maintained, safe trucks, 36 months or newer with 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and fueling at over 800 nationwide maintenance locations. Pass a Ryder Drug Test, a Ryder Background and Motor Vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from prior employers for the last 3 years, a DOT physical, a Ryder road test, and provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position. Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor‑trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months experience within the past 3 years, or 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, or 5 years' experience within the last 10 years. Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions and to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures.
