Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work onsite at our rehabilitation center, which is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and resources tailored for orthopedic therapy. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations and ongoing assessments to establish individual treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and state standards.
• Evaluate each patient's mobility, strength, and functional abilities, setting realistic and attainable goals for recovery.
• Develop comprehensive treatment strategies, incorporating a variety of therapies—including manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient education—designed to accelerate recovery.
• Implement treatment plans consistently, adjusting them according to patient progress and feedback, in line with best practices.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient progress and modifications in treatment plans, adhering to facility and regulatory documentation standards.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy by participating in continuing education workshops and reviewing relevant literature.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care across disciplines, assisting in rehabilitative procedures as necessary.

Qualifications

• Valid and active Physical Therapy license in the state of Virginia.

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including AED.

Compensation and Benefits
