Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU

Registered Nurse Peri-Anesthesia

Schedule: 10-hour shift length, varied start time, includes weekend coverage

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40

Requirements:

• Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience with EPIC EMR
• Certified Peri-Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN) and/or Certified Ambulatory Peri-Anesthesia (CAPA) preferred
• Successful completion of prior travel assignments

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for surgery patients.
• Assist with occasional pre-operative care for gastrointestinal patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the medical team.

Compliance / Notes:

• Scrubs provided
• Med/Surg and Critical Care RN positions may require floating as needed.
