Position Overview

Our client, a global firm that has become one of the most influential forces in modern financial markets is seeking a newly created VP, Corporate Treasury to join their team in New York, NY. In this role, you'll have ownership of the firm's corporate bank account infrastructure and the internal controls that govern its cash. This is a senior execution role centered on account management, payments, and cash controls. You'll act as the firm's principal point of contact across accounts, payments, and banking portals, operating within a global team spanning New York, London, and Hong Kong.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the opening and maintenance of corporate accounts across financial institutions, and govern the internal controls surrounding cash movements and systems
• Serve as the senior point of contact for operational and technical matters across corporate bank accounts, cash controls, and payment processing
• Lead user support and system administration for critical cash and banking portals
• Direct bank account and cash controls initiatives with external banking partners and internal teams
• Establish, centralize, and maintain the firm's database of bank accounts and banking relationships
• Oversee the corporate credit card program, including card issuance, limit management, and coordination with banking partners on fraudulent activity
• Manage wire processing and global payment operations, along with electronic document management and the Report of Foreign Bank and Financial Accounts (FBAR) process
• Partner with teams across the firm to advance firmwide cash management priorities
• Work alongside the accounting technology team to automate and streamline processes, and coordinate with the global team to maintain consistency across regions

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in corporate treasury, cash management, and bank account management
• Proven track record managing multiple corporate bank accounts across financial institutions
• Experience with wire processing and global payments
• Familiarity with ISO 20022, the SWIFT network, and/or payment integrations is a plus
• Experience leveraging AI and technology to automate workflows
• Background at a financial services, private equity, technology, or fintech firm
• Strong command of internal controls governing cash movements and banking systems
