About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled CNA to work days or evenings at our Vestal, New York facility. In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct care to our residents, including assisting with daily living activities, bathing, dressing, grooming, and transferring residents. You will also monitor vital signs, document resident care, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team. As a valued member of our team, you will be expected to maintain a clean and organized work environment, prioritize resident care, and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in all aspects of your work.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents, including personal care, bathing, dressing, grooming, and transferring residents
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to the healthcare team
• Document resident care and maintain accurate records
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, and other caregivers
• Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and ambulating residents
• Prioritize resident care and maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in all aspects of your work

Requirements

• Must be a certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with experience in a long-term care setting
• Previous experience working with residents with dementia, Alzheimer's, or other cognitive impairments
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize resident care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents as needed
